It's the Monday after Thanksgiving and the first official day of the Christmas season. I know some of you have been playing Christmas music since the last hour of Halloween - LOL!
As with the holidays, here comes the cookies, cakes, pies, and nogs - oh, and holiday weight gain. This study from the New England Journal of Medicine found that people’s perceived weight gain varied between 0 and 6.7 pounds with an average of 3.5 per holiday season. If you happen to be overweight, you may end up gaining more. Since I'm plus-size, I know my body, I gain weight quite easily. I have to deligent to not over do it this season. I love me some Christmas cookies!
