FIVE trends to add to your Fall wardrobe (2016)

You know I want to scream "FALL IS HERE!", y'all know it's my favorite season! Of course I have to spotlight Fall 2016 Trends for you - - but with southern flare. Cause y'all, it's HOT down here. As I type, it's 90 degrees in Nashville! LOL! So, below I share Five Fall Trends to add to your existing wardrobe. These five trends are definite nods to the 90's (it's so hot right now) and easy to find. Let's get into it:

1. Camouflage/Army Green - If you don't have an army inspired item in your wardrobe, you losin! LOL! But for real, you will see so much camouflage and army green this season, you are gonna start loving it. Take camouflage for a spin, I like adding my camouflage button-down with a simple black body-con dress and heels. It's a great way to add an urban spin to a basic look.

2. Oversized Denim - Some people don't want to give Kim her props, but she does push style. Kim wears looks that influence culture. So when she started wearing her denim jackets, oversized, I knew I'd see this look everywhere. And, I love it. It's that deshelved chic look that actually looks quite nice on everyone - plus-size & straight sized.

3. Fun Lapel Pins - This is a carry-over from the summer but it's something you need to add to your wardrobe. You can add a couple of lapel pins to your oversized denim jacket, or you can go hard and add a lot! Also, this an affordable trend to rock while showing your interests in a fun way.

4. Block Heel Pumps - Now here's when I start singing loud songs of rejoice! Welcome back to the world BLOCK HEELS!!! I love a good single-sole stiletto, but I can walk better and more comfortably in a block heel! These ankle strap block heel pumps will look so fly with skinny denim and chill skirts.

5. Velvet - Yes, you read right, Velvet is the hot business for fall 2016. My favorite are velvet swing dresses that look so luxe and cozy. You usually think of velvet for the holidays, but let's bring it into Fall.
So, which trend are you thinking about bringing into your wardrobe? Let me know in the comments section.
